Lost Wages

If you have been hurt at work, your employer may be responsible for wage loss benefits. These are benefits that help cover your wages while you are unable to work. In Indiana, these are referred to as Temporary Total Disability (TTD) benefits.

Greene & Schultz offers highly personalized representation for our clients. You can ask us questions about your worker’s compensation claim and expect honest, straightforward answers.

How Is TTD Calculated?

If you have been hurt on the job, you are entitled to receive wage loss benefits (TTD) while you are unable to work due to your injury. These payments begin the second week that you are unable to work. If you are unable to work more than three weeks, then you are entitled to payment for the first week.

You are entitled to two-thirds of your average weekly pay, subject to a salary cap imposed by the law. The amount of your wage benefit is calculated by averaging your wages from the prior year. Contact Greene & Schultz if you have questions about how TTD payments are calculated.
