Born Upland, California, April 23, 1970; admitted to bar, 1996, Indiana; also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Preparatory education: DePauw University (B.S., Political Science, 1992); legal education, Indiana University – Bloomington (J.D., 1996). Former Assistant City Attorney, City of Bloomington, 1998-2003.

 

Member: Monroe County and Indiana State Bar Associations; Indiana Trial Lawyers Association; the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. Over her ten year legal career, Ms. Schultz has often volunteered to represent the Court Appointed Special Advocates of children in southern Indiana CHINS cases, where children have been taken out of the home because of concerns over possible abuse or neglect.

 

Ms. Schultz’s legal practice focuses on helping disabled people obtain benefits through the U.S. Social Security Administration. She understands that a wide variety of significant injuries, illnesses and other medical conditions can leave a person unable to work and in need of ongoing medical care and assistance. Ms. Schultz understands the often frustrating process of dealing with the Social Security system and fights hard to help her clients obtain the benefits they need.
